2023 | Infographic (Group Project)
Overview
A collaborative infographic designed to help Generation Alpha understand rising global surface temperatures. Created for a young, neutral-gender audience, the project uses playful characters and soft, colorful visuals, drawing inspiration from shows like Bluey and My Melody, to make climate data friendly and engaging.
Process
Working in a five-person team, I contributed to early concept development and all data groundwork.
My role included:
• Collecting and cleaning data for three temperature graphs
• Designing the full structure of Graph 1
• Creating every speech bubble for the character “Greeny”
• Building initial graph layouts in Excel before handing assets to teammates for final illustration
We focused on delivering climate science through approachable storytelling and child-centered design choices.
Outcome
The final infographic blends research, data visualization, and character-driven storytelling to introduce environmental awareness in a way children can genuinely understand. It helped transform complex climate concepts into something memorable, friendly, and accessible.
Reflection
This project strengthened my skills in visual empathy, designing with the learning style of kids in mind. It also improved my collaboration and data organization work, supporting my growth in UX and information design.
